Interview with Drew Daniels, Director of Photography

One of the questions we often get asked is “Why did you change the title from Death Grip to Rise And Fail”, and while we have several answers to that question, one of the major reasons was due to the fact that the look of the movie no longer fit the title. ┬áThe person who we can blame contribute the change of look to is Drew Daniels, who flew out from Austin, Texas to be a major part of this production. I’ll go ahead and let him speak for himself. So here he is:

Drew Daniels, the cinematographer and mastermind behind the lighting and the look of “Rise And Fail” takes a minute to talk about working on the film.

    • Afraid not. Zee graced our filmset a few times while we were filming this scene, but he was not in this clip.

      However, I believe he can be seen in the beginning of this clip on the far left:

      • Punch, the person you saw is Bryan Cartago. Zee threw me around a couple times in the long take, it was fun. And he brought some students who were really helpful.
